Jessi Koch is a dedicated and passionate athlete with a roster of impressive accomplishments: three Ironman events, ultra-marathons, triathlons, marathons, Tough Mudder races, and everything else in between.
Looking back on her experiences, she says, “I understand the stress of training—mentally and physically—for an athlete.”
Tapping into a deep desire to help fellow athletes like herself, Jessi became certified as a massage therapist and now has over 10 years of experience.
“Being an athlete myself, I know what muscles are used for specific sports. I understand training commitments and the desire to get back to 100% as soon as possible.”
Jessi attended the Lakeside School of Massage therapy and graduated in 2004. She was invited back to teach at her alma mater and spent three years training students in site-specific work. She constantly adds to her toolbox by increasing her knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology through continuing education.
She describes her massage technique as, “Swedish and therapeutic with a focus on relieving muscle tensions.”
Jessi says, “Each person is like a puzzle, and I work hard to put each piece back in its proper place.”
When she’s not meeting with massage clients or competing in endurance events, Jessi loves to enjoy a nice glass of wine with her husband and dogs at her side.
